Confused about whether voice cloning is supposed to be free or a paid premium feature
On launch (Tuesday), the Voxtral TTS demo Space worked well and allowed voice cloning without issues. Now, both preset voice generations and custom (cloning) attempts error out, even after signing in with a Hugging Face account.If voice cloning is a premium feature intended only for Mistral Studio/API, it would help users if the customization tab were removed or clearly disabled in the demo. This would make it obvious what is actually available here versus what requires a paid plan.Overall, clearer documentation in the Space about the limitations and expected functionality would prevent frustration and set realistic expectations. Thank you for your attention to this matter.
What are the errors exactly being encountered? If its a sign in error, be sure to click on Sign in with Hugging Face, if its a different error its potentially related to a current issue in our side !
When typing in a sentence or two, selecting preset or custom voices, it says error generating audio at the bottom of the space. I am signed in, as I see an icon to log out when I am using the space. Was the voice cloning functionality present on March 31 a free trial? Is it necessary to use the Mistral Studio? If so, it would be helpful to have the custom voices tab removed if voice cloning is a paid feature which is only available on the Mistral Studio and not meant to be available as a demo.
