Interactive collage editor that takes IIIF manifests (https://iiif.io/get-started/how-iiif-works/) e.g. from Internet Archive (supported by 000s of image providers), sends the canvases to a lightweight Segment Anything type model and makes them available for a collage. You can export the collage as a PNG but also as a new IIIF manifest which preserves the provenance of every item in the collage - at least - the crop-boxes for the detected segments, and can be viewed in a standards compilant viewer.

GPU grant to experiment with the full SAM model but also SAM3 (open vocab/grounded segmentation)
