Missing kabyle
Is there any plan to add kabyle language?
@ayymen I think there's only one interesting . "https://datacollective.mozillafoundation.org/datasets/cmn38spwm005vmi07bejigyo6".
i don't know if you already use it?
I have used your model "speech to text" in my android app, to practice pronunciation. It gives marvelous results.Thank you for this work.
but the "test to speech" isn't good enough. it needs improvement to be usable in applications.
Thank you @youcefMR for your feedback. I open-source these models exactly for app builders like you. Feel free to drop the link to your app so that people can try it!
I haven't used Common Voice for Text-to-Speech, only for Speech-to-Text, for two reasons: it is very big (which is a good thing) and I need clean audio for TTS, many recordings if not most would be low-quality.
When you say isn't good enough do you mean not good enough for Kabyle or in general? I know the Tarifit one is not good but the Tachelhit one is probably the best model out there.
hi
I tried Speech-to-Text for kabyle with the old model. i wanted to use Speech-to-Text instead of recording voices (my voice is horrible), the result is impressive for me, but i couldn't use it, because the voice wasn't natural.
i can see now in this new models, there's big improvement even I know neither Tachelhit nor Tarifit. I hope you can do the same for taqbaylit.
here's the link of my app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=io.ionic.taqvaylit&pcampaignid=web_share
it's an app to learn kabyle language. it is inspired from duolingo. i 've used your model in chapter2 lesson2 to test prononciation. the learner record a phrase, then the app tries to convert the voice to text and compare the result to the original phrase.it gives a score as a percentage.
Note: You must unlock all the previous lesson before testing 2.2 lesson. so good luck!
I promise you that Taqbaylit will be added in the next TTS model we release.
