Athena: Transformer Based Chess Bot
We train a transformer on the Chessbenchmate dataset to play chess. The model evaluates the win probability of each legal move. The move that results in the best position will be taken.
Quickstart
We use the bot service provided by Lichess as the primary way to inference Athena. You can challenge Athena here or you can host Athena on your own Lichess account by following the instructions on the Athena Github.
