Is there any plan bumping the base model to the newly released Cosmos-Predict2.5?
To give you a short and clear answer that needs no lengthy explanation, AI model development isn't something just anyone can easily swap out, so while I'm not a developer, the answer would almost certainly be a firm NO.
Generally, as AI models undergo version upgrades, the DiT architecture often changes. Consequently, performing full fine-tuning on the same dataset and parameters is unlikely to yield identical or straightforwardly improved results. Furthermore, unlike Cosmos Predict 2, a standalone Text2Image model has not been released for the Cosmos Predict 2.5 model.
