# xz parameter sweep (AutoZip)

Full-file sweep on `shared_resources/enwik8` to tune lzma2 parameters around the current best xz setup.

Best archive size observed: **24,706,420 bytes** (tie across dict 512/1024/1536 MiB) with:

`-9e --lzma2=dict={512|1024|1536}MiB,nice=273,mf=bt4,mode=normal,lc=4,lp=0,pb=0`

Conclusion: under this family, `lc=4,lp=0,pb=0` is robust; changing pb or lowering lc hurts compression. Larger dictionary above 512MiB gave no additional gain in this run.
