| This file is a walkthrough for the game of interactive fiction, | |
| SHE'S GOT A THING FOR A SPRING by Brent VanFossen. The game and | |
| this walkthrough are copyright (c) 1997 Brent VanFossen, but may | |
| be distributed freely in any format. They may not be changed | |
| or used commercially without the written permission of the | |
| author. | |
| The game itself should be available for downloading | |
| at the interactive fiction archive, ftp://ftp.gmd.de/if-archive. | |
| Make sure and also get the Z-machine (Infocom compatible) | |
| interpreter at that same site. Many other similar games are | |
| available, as well. | |
| A NOTE ABOUT THE WALKTHROUGH: | |
| This game contains random elements which make a step-by-step | |
| walkthrough a dangerous undertaking, because undoubtedly, | |
| something is slightly different with every play. However, | |
| the player should be able to use this file as a guide to | |
| moving through the game. When the random events are likely | |
| to be encountered, I have tried to note that in the file. | |
| The walkthrough does not pretend to show the reasoning | |
| behind each move, and much of the fun of a game of this | |
| kind is exploring, experimenting, and discovering the | |
| secrets for yourself. The game file itself contains a hint | |
| system which starts with gentle nudges and progresses to | |
| complete spoilers of all the major puzzles. The author | |
| recommends that the player use that system first, and this | |
| file only as a last resort. Enjoy! | |
