| TAPESTRY Readme First | |
| --------------------- | |
| Thank you for reading this file. I'll try and be brief. | |
| A few very important points: | |
| - TAPESTRY has a prologue, and although it CAN be skipped using the | |
| 'begin' command, it is suggested you play through it AT LEAST ONCE, | |
| as it contains information necessary to completing the story. Don't | |
| expect to solve any puzzles or do any major exploration, but do | |
| look around and ask questions... | |
| - In order to make NPC interaction more 'realistic,' the majority of | |
| conversation is handled via the 'ask' and 'tell' verbs. The syntax | |
| being: | |
| ASK <NPC> ABOUT <SUBJECT> and | |
| TELL <NPC> ABOUT <SUBJECT>. | |
| Questions can be answered via 'tell' or | |
| SAY <ANSWER> TO <NPC>. | |
| - As presented in the story's prologue, there are three mutually- | |
| exclusive paths through TAPESTRY. Once a path is begun, it must | |
| be followed to its conclusion. Be careful in your actions, because | |
| you may inadvertantly choose a path without realizing it. | |
