| Mechanically, SRPG is a browser-based text adventure which uses a combination of interaction styles. Most prominently, it's a parser-based game, with some clickable elements (which correspond directly to typed commands) in the form of dialogue trees and context menus. The game features optional music (which will not begin until explicitly allowed). | |
| This game was written largely as a result of my experiences as a newbie GM running campaigns for my friends. Scrambling to figure out the rules mid-session, getting flustered and making mistakes, and generally trying to distract from my inexperience by injecting humor into the world. | |
