A piece of interactive fiction written in 2000-2003 by Stefan Blixt
in the Inform programming language. You could also call this a "text
game". It is an entry into the annual interactive fiction competition
of 2003. For more information about the competition, please visit
http://www.ifcomp.org. For more information about interactive
fiction, visit http://brasslantern.org/beginners/playta1.html. A
great bundle of interactive fiction works reside at
http://www.ifarchive.org. For more information about the author of
this piece, visit http://www.df.lth.se/~flash. Mail can be sent to
flash@df.lth.se.
To read interactive fiction, you need an interpreter installed on
your computer. There are several in the IF archive under
http://www.ifarchive.org/indexes/if-archiveXinfocomXinterpreters.html
During development, this game was played using WindowsFrotz2002.
Two walkthroughs are bundled with the game - walkthrough_straight.txt
contains the most simple solution from start to finish.
walkthrough_elaborate.txt contains a solution that shows more of the
contents in the game.
Thanks to the people who helped me beta-test this game:
Timothy Partridge, Pelle Nilsson and Mark Manning.
