        This walkthrough is divided into sections. The tasks in the may
generally be completed in any order. Following these instructions will award
you maximum points (100 points). Any feedback regarding the game is greatly

=THE GAME BEGINS=
Open drawer
Take letter
Go West (to upstairs)
Go West (into the bathroom)
Take cough syrup
Go East (to upstairs)
Go down (the the hallway)
Open front door
Go East (outside the house)
Open mailbox
Put letter in mailbox
 (To obtain the highest score, the outgoing letter must be in the mailbox
  before the mailman arrives, sometime before turn 25 to be on the safe side.)
Go West (back in the house)
Go North (to the kitchen)
Go West (to the computer room)
Ask Dad about stink bomb
 (About the mail: there is no need to get the new mail when it arrives. Dad
  will check it on his own and give it to you after it arrives. When he hands
  it to you, simply open it to reveal a clue necessary to win the game.)

        Dad will list the various ingredients you need to find in order to
make the stink bomb. If you forget what they are, simply ask him again. When
you find an item that could be an ingredient, show it to Dad and he will
verify that it fits the description.
        The next four sections focus on finding each ingredient, individually.

=OBTAINING THE "DRAGON EGG"=
 (Go to the kitchen: East from the computer room)
 Open fridge
  (If Mom is around, she will often close the refrigerator. When this happens,
   just open it again.)
 Take eggs from fridge


=OBTAINING THE "WEREWOLF FUR"=
 (Go to the kitchen)
 Open pantry
 Take silverware and plates and treats from pantry
 Set table
  [put plates on table]
  [put silverware on table]
 Take knife and meat
  (Mom won't let you pick up these items while she's around. After you've set
   the table, however, she will eventually wander away by herself.)
 Pour cough syrup on meat
  (Locate Jenny the Dog. She wanders around quite a bit, so sooner or later
   you're bound to run into her. Alternatively, you may simply drop the meat
   in the kitchen and she will eventually find it on her own.)
 Give meat to dog
  (She will take a few turns before falling asleep, so you may need to follow
   her if she wanders away. While you are carrying doggy treats, she should
   stay right next to you until you leave.)
 Take fur from dog


=OBTAINING THE "TROLL SWEAT"=
 (To find this item, you will need to get into Jim's Room. There are a few
  different ways to do this. This is the most direct approach.)
 (Go upstairs: South then up from the kitchen)
 Open attic door
 Go up (into the attic)
 Search pink fluff
  (If you read the note you get in the mail, it tells you to do this. There
   is really no way to guess you need to "search fluff" without reading the
   mail.)
 Take gun
 Open box
  (You will need the kitchen knife to open the box. Refer to "Obtaining the
   Werewolf Fur" for instructions on obtaining the knife.)
 Take red batteries
 Put red batteries in gun
 Go down (back to upstairs)
 Shoot Jim's door
 Go North (into Jim's room)
 Take gym socks from basket



=OBTAINING THE "AWFUL MUSIC"=
 (Again, there is more than one way to do this. The following way awards the
  most points. You will need to get into Jim's room. Refer to "Obtaining the
  Troll Sweat" if you have not yet figured this out.)
 (Go to the family room: West and North from the kitchen)
 Take CD
 Go South (to the computer room)
 Go East (to the kitchen)
 Go South (to the hallway)
 Go up (to upstairs)
 Go North (into Jim's room, see "Obtaining the Troll Sweat" for instructions)
 Turn off stereo
  (When Jim is around, he'll occasionally turn it back on. When this happens,
   just turn it off again.)
 Open stereo
 Get CD from stereo
 Put music CD in stereo
 Close stereo
 Turn stereo on



=MAKING THE BOMB (FIRES OF MORDOR)=
 (Before you make the bomb, you must collect the four ingredients. Refer to
  the previous four sections on how to do so.)
 (Go to the kitchen)
 Put eggs on cutting board       ("dragon egg")
 Put dog hair on cutting board   ("werewolf fur")
 Put gym socks on cutting board  ("troll sweat")
 Put rock CD on cutting board    ("awful music")
  (For the final step, you will need the ray gun with nuclear batteries.
   Refer to "Obtaining the Troll Sweat" for instructions.)
 Shoot cutting board with gun
