V2V shot-to-shot transition between two videos using Re-Take inpaint
Compared to the other "shot-to-shot" workflows., this one does not use any lora.
Rather it uses LTX built-in "re-take" feature inpainting new frames between video A and video A.
(The lora workflows are better for "fancy" short video effect transitions)
This is a more generic workflow and can be used many ways:
- create a transition video fx between two videos (without any lora, or can use Transition lora etc)
- reshoot/retake/extend scene between two videos
- regular clip to clip, with a short blend/merge between videos
Since its more generic it has room for lots of creativity (for good and bad), and the better you prompt the better the result.
As a base workflow, the output is all up to you, your prompt, and how long to transition for ;-)
The workflow outputs only the transition (that you can use in a video editor), as well as the whole Video A to B with transition included.

thank you for this, amazing. But i am getting last frame freeze. It freezes for a 0.3-0.6sec then keeps going. Your example with joker has something similar, do you have any idea how to fix it?

tried nearly everything, video either pauses/freezes in the middle or if i get rid of the freeze then lastframe mismatch/flickers causing weird transitions. no clue how to solve it there... but this wf would be life changing. sound, quality, colors everything is perfect
Probably just increase the "Ease" frame count at bottom of workflow.
The "hesitation" (or freeze) in the motion could be from not having enough frames to go by in the overlap between the video input, and the masking area.
Set it to for example 30 frames
But will try some here.

Now i see what you meant, there is a hesitation/freeze after the transition. Checking
Raw prompt only transition
Prompt enhancer transition (gemma see last frame and first frame, and adds a creative touch....)
Transition with AnimateDiff & Transition lora
... plus all the other ways you can use it; Extend a scene, change/edit a scene etc etc

OH thats just some loras I tried, so just right click the Power Lora, and choose "refresh".. . no need for any loras ;-)
(will update the wf so its clean from any entries that are not needed)

As well as a few others, just trying to get a transition example for the post above that used lora for something trippy, or morphing etc.
But definitively dont need loras, purely optional ;-)
EDIT: Updated the workflow so it doesnt have loras loaded (thats all optional, and can use any and all loras)
